Once in position, it automatically stops using most energy. This is important as it will never overheat.This is a key difference between motorized ball valves and solenoid valves. Most solenoid valves are constantly fully energized, while these electrical ball valves are not, making them a safer and more eco-friendly option.
The attention to detail in this valve extends beyond the metal. The casing is rated as IP65. This ingress protection rating is used to define how well the casing does at sealing.
